Have You Registered for the
Fundamentals of Domestic Violence Training??

Hurry - there are just a few more days until AVLF's first-of-its-kind training on the dynamics of domestic violence.

On Friday, March 1st, at 9:00 a.m., AVLF will host a full-day, interactive domestic violence training at Kilpatrick Townsend, based on the American Bar Association's Commission on Domestic & Sexual Violence training. Participants will explore issues from the dynamics and cultural influences of domestic violence to the mechanics of taking a Protective Order case in Fulton County in an dynamic training environment.

Members of the ABA Commission are coming to Atlanta to observe and participate because this is the first time the training has been customized to a specific state!

We are also pleased to announce that Fulton County Family Division Judges and Judicial Officers as well as local and national experts on domestic violence and the law will participate in this training.

Whether you are an experienced volunteer or completely new to domestic violence work, you will benefit from this training. We encourage everyone with an interest in this area to join us for this unique opportunity.
