The 1 Hour CLE presentation will provide an overview of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), the key ways LGBT individuals and their families have faced obstacles in accessing health care prior to the ACA's implementation, and how the ACA addresses these shortcomings through changes in data collection, non-discrimination policies, expanded access to insurance, and enhanced health plan coverage.
